The Beornings of Middle-earth are a largely reclusive people. They trace their ancestry to Beorn himself, and spend most of their time deep in the wilderness. The solitude of the forest gives little comfort in recent times, with the enemy encroaching from all sides. The time has come for the descendants of Beorn to lend their strength to the Free People of Middle-earth.
Beorning
Beornings are skin-changers that can change into the form of a bear in combat. They focus their wrath while in bear form, choosing to deal grievous blows or bolster their own resolve. While skilled in combat, some Beornings also choose to wield their knowledge of the wilderness to assist their allies.
As a tank you’ll spend most of your time in bearform to reduce the damage you take. Mix your Single target taunts with your Aoe taunt. Use Armour crush and bees to provide extra debuffs to. You can do some large quantity of heals, but are limited by their cooldowns moreso then skill. It’s all about maximizng your skills and cooldowns at the right moment.
A dps you’ll mix human form and bear to get maxiumum dps, bleeds and debuffs on the mobs. Same as healer, your cooldowns matter a lot. But you’ll also need to maximize the aoe attacks and timings such Thrash Tier 3 and Relentless maul.
Beornings are easy to play due to their sturdiness and lack of power. Most parts of a beornings ease of play come that their damage is build in to the cooldowns.
It’s difficult part comes from managing their cooldowns and making sure that you get enough mobs in aoe range. It’s easy to do a good chunk of damage and heals, but you have a ton of miscellaneous skills that in a normal situation. Slam, Bash, Execute(s) etc are mostly unused on landscape with it being easier to just do another thrash or clawsipe.
