Overview
Yellow and Red Runekeeper traitlines are the DPS traitlines, whilst Blue is for healing. Generally we recommend DPS for leveling. Yellow has less range but more instant casts which can be used on the move. Red has more range but has longer inductions. Both are viable but Red can be situational. Therefore we recommend Yellow as the best all-rounder.
How Runekeeper plays
Runekeepers use Attunement. The more battle-attuned you are, the harder you hit but the less you heal, and the more healing-attuned you are, the opposite. They use rune-stones instead of a weapon and draw on fire, frost and lightning. The system is straightforward to learn, so this is a good class if you want to play a magic user.
Choosing a traitline for levelling
Yellow (Solitary Thunder) uses lightning for burst damage and is very mobile and survivable, which makes it the best all-rounder for levelling. Red (Cleansing Flame) uses fire for damage over time and can deal a lot of damage, but it has long inductions and is less mobile. Blue (Benediction of Peace) is the healing line, so it is not the usual choice for levelling.
