Brawlers are formidable fighters whose bold manoeuvres can topple their foes and safeguard their allies.
This class is inspired by Helm Hammerhand, who to the astonishment of many, would take to the battlefield barehanded

Brawlers are aggressive melee fighters who wield a unique resource called Mettle to maximize their damage and fuel their most powerful skills. Although their offensive capabilities truly shine in one-on-one combat, they are not without recourse when faced with multiple enemies. In fellowships, a Brawler’s abrasive nature helps them hold the ire of their foes and keep their allies safe.
Brawlers classify as an Advanced class due to their need to combine a Set-up skill to buff their next Finisher attack. That comes with their resource Mettle. You want as much as possible all the time because it directly boosts your melee damage and incoming damage (Battle flow). While they do have other mechanics such as Latent light and Vulnerability. In their grand scheme they add a lot of complexity for minor rewards at the moment.
All in all, they are very easy to play and hard to master. With the major issue being there isn’t much reward to master them compared other classes such as Loremaster or Warden. A few skills such Pummle (Runekeeper smouldering wrath style induction) and FIrst strike just don’t provide enough of a damageboost over other skills.
Their raid utility is ok if you factor in their buffs to the fellowship with All in one and Innate strength. Single target tanking is great, though you need know the fights because their shine comes from their ability to prevent damage as opposed to their rescue skills or self-heals. Plant feet, Weather blows and Mettle shield all reduce more damage then other classes. With Bracing guard giving a decent heal and incoming healing bonus for a limited time.
