LOTR Mines of Moria

Moria traitline (level 60)

Last updated: U43

Overview

Level 60 comes with 42 traitpoints. You will need to spend all 35 points in the same traitline to get the final (7th trait bonus). These are different then the flagstone skills at the bottom (30 points spent needed). Unless there is a clear advantage you don’t want to get any trait outside your primary choice (cost 2 points). Some classes have a 1 point option, but the same idea applies.

Legendary server focus

Angmar and Mordor are currently level 60 with several major endgame activities.

  • Moria 6-man instances (medaillion of moria)
  • Lothlorien 3 and 6 man instance
  • Lothlorien Dar Narbagad raid
  • Moria Raid Vile maw, Filikul (specific armour barter)
  • Wraiths and Nazguls (outside Moria)
  • Moria Assasins (inside moria)

Compared to level 150 there is a large focus on tactical mitigation and morale. But corruption removal and the ability to self-heal is important to those killing wraiths solo. Traitlines are build with these as a major focus.

Traitlines are still Angmar level 50. See below notes. Raid or specific updates once they become known. An all-round check planned for the holiday weeks.

You’ll acquire 7 extra points and end up with 42 points. This will allow you to fill out several missing supporting traits or venture into the second traitline (at the cost of 2 traitpoints per entry). For early Moria i’d suggest fill your main trait tree (you’ll normally won’t go beyond tier 1 or early 2 with just 42 points without losing important main skills.

However some classes could reorganize and cut on their main trait tree to go deeper into their secondary (up to 10 points). These will be mostly support classes and perhaps some tank specs for specific bosses.

Missing several supporting traits that would normally be in any build with just 35 points. See traitlines for specific comments.

LHQ50BEB

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/beorning-LHQ50BEB

Incomplete with 35 points, but dismissed Sacrifice, Evade and wrath builder. Unsure about Ferocious roar morale boost.

LHQ50BER

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/beorning-LHQ50

No bleed damage boosts, Slam, Trample and Natures Wrath. Less used skills for me. Instead used the 5 skillpoints on execute.

LHQ50BEY

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/beorning-LHQ50BEY

Focussed on heal bonus, bees and Piercing cry. No CC, interupt or Rush.

3/5, Modified 150 brawler build. No external information for Brawler in Rift.

LHQ50BRR

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/brawler-LHQ50BRRe

Using some points from elswhere for Light or extra Revel pulses might be good. But difference likely to small to notice without extensive testing.

2/5, Modified 150 Burglar build. No external information for Burglar in Rift. Not a lot of recent experience with Burglar outside of dailies.

LHQ50BUR

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/burglar-LHQ50BRR

No stealth bonus in this 35 point build. Use the last point in Focus strike for Single target damage over Aoe. Very much a limited raid build.

LHQ50BUY

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/burglar-LHQ50BRY

Very few traits used in the 150 raid build leaving you 3 points short of 35.

Some recent experience and external information. Rift experience limited.

LHQ50CAB

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/captain-LHQ50CABe

A test build used 50/35 point. Listed build has all shield-brother and group buffs cut in favour of healing.

LHQ50CAR

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/captain-LHQ50CARe

Missing Impactfull blow and 2 Standard of War in favour of some more Grave wound and bleed damage.

LHQ50CAY

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/captain-LHQ50CAY

Missing In harm way and Turning point in favour of Banner and Tank stats.

4/5, Modified 150 Champion build. Some external information for Champion  in Rift.

LHQ50CHR

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/champion-LHQ50CHR

Missing Battle reflexes and sprint. Added 1 point to killing spree for Nazgul at little cost.

LHQ50CHY

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/champion-LHQ50CHY

Current content doesn’t use the extra targets from the trait tree.

Decent tank experience with Guardian on Live Cap group.

LHQ50GUB

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/guardian-LHQ50GUB

Missing Stoic bubble. Not sure how good the bubbles are without LI traceries boosting them. 1 point in force opening might be good.

LHQ50GUR

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/guardian-LHQ50GUR

Missing Into the fray. Good, but too costly at 6 to get a limited group benefit.

Same as the 150 raid version. Only Red available atm.

TBD

LHQ50HUR

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/hunter-LHQ50HURe

31 points spend. Leaving you the option to get either Rain of arrows, Heartseeker or Bodkin Arrow. For group play i’m not sure if Heartseeker bleeds without Blue and LI buffs outpace Bodkin Arrow. Rain of arrow a far down 3rd option probably.

TBD

Modified raid build with limited up-to-date knowledge. Blue and yellow build based on year old information.

With 35 points you can only get the traits meant for the build. No damage traits in blue and no yellow traits for now.

LHQ50MMB

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/minstrel-LHQ50MIB

Skipped on Damage, bubbles, power restore and enhancements to anthems

LHQ50MMR

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/minstrel-LHQ50MIR

Skipped out of extra Morale in favour of Critical strike and Greater anthem II.

Modified 150 raid builds. Added extra points to main traitline to finish of the 35 points.

LHQ50RKR

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/runekeeper-LHQ50RKRe

Very debatable choices

No Self motivation for extra debuffs and damage?
Debuffs vs own damage. After-burn vs Empowering flame

Modified 150 raid build, but unsure if and when going into yellow is worth it.

LHQ50WAB

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/warden-LHQ50WABe

Removed Stand your ground in favour of fellowships protector and 3 extra Fear no darkness.

LHQ50WAR

https://ilovefriedorc.com/traits/warden-LHQ50WARe

Removed Physical mastery (completely unsure if you can cap PM without it) in favour of 5 points extra in Dot critical chance and damage.
